Request For Information For Ms. Kitty Casale
The Greater Washington Fast-pitch Softball Hall
of Fame Commission announced that Christine ‘Kitty’ Casale, a 1981 Hall of Fame inductee, who died during the
first week of March (2009) in Atlantis, Florida had a Plaque dedicated in her honor at the 2009 Awards Banquet.
We were pleased that Kitty and her daughter, Linda, had visited Washington in November 2008 and attended the (2008) 45thHall
of Fame Awards Ceremony. During the induction portion of this year's Awards Banquet, the Hall of Fame
Commission presented the Plaque for the attendees to view, and noted that it will be displayed at every future Banquet.
The Plaque was funded by donations in her name by her family and friends. It will display the names of all future inductees.
It is a wonderful tribute to an outstanding fast pitch supporter and Hall of Famer.
